"Fim de semana difícil no Canadá.
6ª posição final.
Nunca conseguimos ter o nosso Cadillac com bom andamento. Muitas dificuldades em encontrar o equilíbrio certo para uma pista tão rápida.
Na corrida, a perda de ar num pneu obrigou-me a uma paragem que infelizmente nos fez perder 1 volta. De qq maneira nunca baixamos os braços e com as condições climatéricas difíceis, alguns períodos de chuva fraca, conseguimos recuperar até ao 2º lugar a 10 minutos do final.
Após uma situação de bandeira amarela, um toque com o n85 a disputar o 2º lugar, baixei para 6º. Situações de corrida que acontecem...
Muito trabalho a fazer até à próxima corrida para voltarmos ao lugar mais alto do pódio mas tenho a certeza que vamos conseguir!
Difficult weekend in Canada!
6th place in a very though race.
We were never able to have the right set up on our Cadillac in such a fast race track.
In the race, just after my pit stop, a lost of pressure in the front left tire meant that I had to stop again and with that I lost 1 lap.
With difficult condition because of some showers, we were able to get the lap back and be in contention for the win with 10 minutes to go. Unfortunately, in a restart I was caught behind a GT car and trying to protect my 2nd place I touched with the #85 and almost spun, dropping to 6th place.
A lot of work to do before the next race to be back on the top step of the podium but we can definitely do it!
